Passages is a 2012 mural frieze in acrylic on routered marine plywood representing aspects of the past and present in West Vancouver. It depicts local elements such as the pioneer Lawson, an early native leader, Chief Maquina, and various shoreline images and symbols. I incorporated design elements throughout that were based on the work of the modernist artist and West Vancouver resident,  B.C. Binnings. The mural's title alludes both to passage in time as well as the physical passage of ships that pass through the straights  and into Vancouver's inner harbour.
