Russian Hall (south)

The Russian Hall, located in Strathcona, East Vancouver, was painted in 2009 as a celebration of the centenary of Britannia Secondary school. It was painted by a team of community and professional artists/muralists and was transformative in profiling the role that the Russian community has played in the broader community. The project took the team many months to finalize the design in collaboration with the board of the centre, and six weeks to paint.
