undersea, Haida Gwaii

A recent commission for a private home/courtyard in Vancouver, this mural draws from studies of undersea forms, sketches from my Haida Gwaii and South Moresby Island experiences of a few summers ago. 

It was painted in a week of summer weather on a terra cotta colored building, and is designed to complement the setting while offering a surprise to visitors.
