Flight Path

I am painting a mural  this summer titled “Flight Path” in Mount Pleasant, a district in East Vancouver. The 800 sq. ft mural is a part of The Create Festival, through Eastside Arts Society, an annual Vancouver arts event. Located in an alleyway, it is painted on sheets of plywood, designed to be removed and reinstalled in a building scheduled for the new location, once complete.

Flight Path brings together aspects of the urban industrial landscape, activated by a sequence of crows in flight. it is a tribute to the dynamics of crows and my love of their personality and presence in the city as well as to the urban environment that i reflect in my work.
