Passages #1, #2

Recently commissioned by the City of West Vancouver, two of my 'wood relief' murals. The pieces follow in color and mood of the four seasons, with one reflecting spring and summer, the other fall and winter.  They can now been viewed in West Vancouver's recently opened City Hall administration wing. Here are photos of the works arranged to animate both the reception and administration sections of the building.

Fugitive Streets-Chinatown

A series of new paintings  based on  Vancouver's evolving Chinatown, a three-person exhibit with photographers Esther Rausenberg and Louise Francis-Smith.

At the Roundhouse Exhibition Hall during the Vancouver International Dance Festival 2018 until the end of March. 

 

Public Art and Storeys Launch, Richmond BC.

My new piece, a powder coated and etched aluminum work called Urban Weave, will be launched at the opening of the new building called Storeys, located at 8111 Granville Avenue and No. 3 Road, Richmond.

This piece is my first public art commission for the City of Richmond. The work stretches for 110 feet across the balcony facade of a new building housing six social agencies.

Opening event: Friday December 1st, 2017 from 10 til 12 AM.

Eastside Culture Crawl 2017

Thanks to all who came and visited my studio during the 2017 Culture Crawl! It was a great four days.

Croatia exhibition, June-July 2015

 The Elusive Landscape,in Benkovac Museum Regional Gallery and Zadar (Gallery of State Archives), Croatia in June and July 2015.

Hospital donations

These works are now in the collection of Vancouver Hospital and St Paul's Hospital, both in Vancouver... the former at the main entranceway and the other, in Emerge.

Big Print Project 2014

Big Print Project 2014

Using a steamroller in an open-air summer event, a team of 12 artists created woodblocks on full sheets of MDF board that were inked and printed. This weekend of collaborative printmaking was a first for Vancouver.

VanDusen Gardens Discovery Gallery, from August 6th to Sept. 3rd 2014

Curated by Celia Duthie and Nicholas Hunt of the Duthie Gallery on Salt Spring Island, Touch Wood is a landmark exhibition by prominent B.C. artists. As a part of this extensive exhibition, printmaker Richard Tetrault will show a series of his recent woodcuts and unique prints. Tetrault’s work can be seen during regular hours at VanDusen’s Discovery Gallery.
