Industrial Landscapes
The immediate urban environment provides me with the starting point for most of my paintings and prints. The street and waterfront is a collage of images and encounters that are both edgy and full of a primal energy. I often work directly on location, improvising on observed reality using a range of mediums, including acrylics, ink, collage and pastel. Larger works developed in the studio are acrylics on canvas, wood panel or paper. |
