The Urban Figure
I am interested in portraying figures that maintain an allegorical-like presence in the urban environment, as survivors, often, within a displaced community. I strive to express the dual forces of fragility and endurance that is prevalent in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, as well as in other such communities. |
