A Mexican Market #2-(Homage to Diego Rivera ).

SOLD  This work is a sequel to another work paying tribute to Diego Rivera. It references that artist's embracing compositions and rich, saturated colors. I have always been drawn to these elements that run like a tapestry through Mexican markets. This canvas also show my appreciation for Rivera's well-researched and respectful portrayal of his country, its people and its socially animated conviviality. While it reflects that artists work, I took it into my own territory with abstract passages throughout.
