A Mexican Market-Homage to Diego Rivera

 SOLD  This piece reflects a sunny market in Mexico and the social aspect of these places, while obliquely paying homage to Diego Rivera (portrayed playing an accordian in the bottom right)  in the symmetry and bright, saturated colors. I referenced my sketchbook drawings for the traditionally dressed figures. This work was a commissioned piece, and sparked a renewed investigation for me into this theme.
