A series of works in graphite and acrylics on Mylar based on women in marketplaces. These from Oaxaca Mexico, are taken from my on site sketchbook drawings. I aim to capture both the dignified gestures and profiles of my subject, suggesting the movement of figures engaged in their essential daily market activities.
