Green Shadows-Chinatown

Thematically tied to my ongoing series of paintings, prints and drawings that are based on Vancouver's Chinatown, Green Shadows depicts the facade of an old and historic building draped in red lanterns, activated by crows. I was interested in using transparencies in the inks to suggest both layered age as well as sunlight and shadow.
