Return to Gold Mountain

A recent color woodcut printed in my Strathcona studio. The print reflects an impression of Vancouver 's Chinatown, known as 'Gold Mountain' for the riches (ie gold mines and other opportunities) that lured early immigrant laborers from China. This piece uses multiple blocks in layered coloration to suggest passage of time.
